Nestled at 8750' in the stunning Sangre de Cristo mountains of Red River, NM, our state-of-the-art distillery produces exceptional craft spirits in small batches, using only the best ingredients, rigid quality standards and clean, cold Red River Mountain water. Our water provides unmatched purity because we aren’t downstream from anyone, and we’re one of the highest elevation distilleries in the world, which are unique benefits in the production of our award-winning spirits.  


Where to Find Our Spirits

Our spirits are available for purchase in our restaurant, tasting room, online and in select stores throughout New Mexico and Texas. And we highly encourage you to ask for any of our bottles by name at your favorite liquor store.

 

Our Tasting Room


Next door to the distillery is our new tasting room, where you can sample our small-batch creations, indulge in specialty cocktails, and take home a bottle of your favorites along with exclusive branded merchandise.

Our tasting room is currently closed for the off-season, re-opening May 22, we hope to see you then!

Silver King Vodka

It says silver. But it tastes like gold.

Our award-winning Silver King vodka. It’s divine either neat or mixed. It will shock you with its subtlety. A crisp nose leads to a lush, full body, with a soft mouthfeel, it finishes incredibly clean and slightly sweet. The refined flavor profile is derived from distilling at 8,750’ elevation and using pure Red River mountain water. Awarded the "Best Craft American Vodka" by the American Distilling Institute in 2021.

Rio Grande Sotol

Earth, wind, fire, with a grit finish.

Created from the Sotol plant, aka the desert spoon, which grows wildly in the deserts of northern Mexico and the American Southwest. Sotol sets the tone for uniqueness. Following the booming trend of agave spirits, including tequila and mezcal, Sotol is next on the short list of spirits soon to become household names. Rio Grande Sotol has a strong smoky nose that opens up midway through to find an earthy, agave, and vegetal long finish. Only recently legalized for sale in the US.

Purkapile Rum

Send your mouth on an island getaway

This award-winning craft rum is double-distilled at 8750' elevation creating a uniquely nuanced flavor profile that is smoother than most other white rums. ADI judges say it is "very aromatic on the nose, herbaceous and fruity/funk notes well expressed. Smooth, well integrated, good balance. Nice finish". Try it in a classic Mojito.

Mallette Bros. Gin

A floral arrangement for your tongue.

Piney juniper and mountain flowers; distilled into a heavenly aromatic and intoxicating elixir. This 2022 double gold media winner craft gin has a uniquely nuanced flavor profile derived from distilling at an 8,750’ elevation and using the pure Red River mountain water". Named after the original homesteaders of Red River, George, Orin, and Sylvester Mallette.

Black Copper Rye Whiskey

A great solo act that plays well with others.

Made from 95% Rye and 5% barley, and aged 5 years in American white oak barrels. This distinguished taste – with a touch of Red River rowdiness – keeps your taste buds on their toes. Delicious whether neat, on the rocks or mixed into your favorite cocktail, our rye whiskey has a slight spice on the nose and a medium mouthfeel that fades to pepper and oak.

Goose Creek Bourbon

What fire eaters like to drink.

With so many different ways to make Bourbon, it is best to make one of quality. Made from 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley and aged 6 years in American white oak barrels. The complimenting flavors of sweet and smoky are what makes our bourbon stand out. A smooth finish, this spirit opens up with strong notes of vanilla and oak, with a lingering full flavor of caramel at the end.

Cabresto Cañón Agave Spirit

Every sip tastes like a lightning strike.

When Mexico meets New Mexico only magic can happen. We import 100% Organic Blue Agave from Jalisco, Mexico, and ferment and distill it at 8750' elevation using pristine Red River mountain water creating an agave spirit unique to New Mexico that rivals any tequila produced south of the border. Try it neat our in your favorite tequila cocktail - we think you'll agree.

Jacks and Sixes Spiced Rum

Sits like sunshine in your belly.

Cardamom, cinnamon, Madagascar vanilla beans, cloves, and black peppercorn roll warmly over your body like a Caribbean beach party. This craft spiced rum – created from our award-winning white rum – sweetens any occasion with a uniquely nuanced flavor profile derived from distilling at an 8,750’ elevation and pure Red River mountain water.

Gila Monster Bacanora

Drinking it no longer punishable by death.

A peppery, spicy, mule kick to the mouth. Derived from a special Pacifica Agave plant grown on the hillsides of Sonora, Mexico (and once illegal to distill), this craft spirit is produced using artisanal methods passed down through the generations. Roasted with mesquite and oak wood, this succulent delivers a unique flavor profile that is different from Tequilas or Mezcals you may have tried before.
